Arisxandra Libantino has big dreams for such a small little lady!
The 11 year old singer wowed the Britain’s Got Talent judges when she performed ‘One Night Only’ at her audition session recently and easily won four yeses which saw her making it through to the next round.
Last night it was revealed that the young singer had made the final 45 acts and tonight she will perform once more, on the first semi final of the series.
The pretty performer told ITV that she is desperate to show people what she can do and also to perform alongside a few of her all time idols. She explained:
Arisxandra said: “I went on Britain’s Got Talent to show people what I can do. My dream is to sing with my idol Jennifer Hudson. She is so beautiful and I love her voice. I practise a lot at home.”
She may be just a schoolgirl but already singing is Arisxandra’s life and she admitted that she very rarely thinks of anything else.
She’s well prepared for her live performance tonight she thinks and added:
“Sometimes I sing in the playground at school. I’ve always wanted to be a singer. I started when I was four-years-old. I just got my brush and sung in front of the mirror. It’s what I want to do with my life.”
Libantino is up against eight other acts this evening and will have to compete against Band of Voices, Bosom Buddies, Youth Creation, Philip Green, J Unity, Aaron Crow, Martin Healy and Richard and Adam if she wants to make next week’s final.
She isn’t sure anything that happens tonight can match the shock and excitement she felt when she got rave reviews from Simon Cowell at her audition though and revealed:
“The audition was gob-smacking. Seeing Simon was really scary but I wanted to impress him the most. I got a standing ovation and he told me I was superhuman! I really didn’t expect him to say that. I was really shocked.”
